What is ads by Portal? Is it safe?

Portal is able to display lots of pop-up ads on your browsers. These ads are mainly in form of “Ads by Portal”, “Ad by Portal”, “Powered by Portal” or “Brought by Portal”, etc. And these ads are usually based on keywords related to the websites you are visiting. Portal usually gets into your computer bundled with some free download and spam email attachments. Besides, if you visit some suspicious website or click some malicious links and fake pop-ups, your PC is probably infected with the adware.
