"In a domain environment we are currently experiencing an encryption outbreak. We are unable to find the root of this virus because it appears to have administrative rights and is located on the C: drive of several servers and workstations. We are all too familiar with the former encryption viruses that would show up on share drives and be able to local the user by the 'Owner' of the "HOW_TO" files. It's not as simple with this virus. It is leaving 'HELPDECYPRT_YOUR_FILES.html" in all infected folders...."
