This Trojan was immediately quaranteened by MSE but it keeps trying to gain access.

There is no sign of it in the Task Manager Processes.

Therefore the question is how to stop it pepetually trying to gain access.

I will also contact MSE but would appreciate any help.

Many thanks

Paul

This is the same thing that I'm experiencing. It is removed by MSE and then comes right back. Over and over.

Shown method did not work for me. I had to manually go to the Users\\AppData\Roaming folder to delete some .dll files that were just sitting there. You have to boot to safe mode to delete them. While in safe mode you can run msconfig to remove suspicious startup items. There should be at least two entries in startup that are related to the virus. It uses rundll32, so look out for that in the command section under startup as well. If for some reason your computer gets stuck on please wait screen during startup you can go back to msconfig in safe mode, hide all mimcrosoft services then disable a few services that remain in the list until you can figure which one is causing the problem.
